We are a medical office seeking a friendly, detail-oriented, and organized Medical Receptionist to join our team! This is a part-time position with the potential to expand to full-time. We are looking for a dedicated team member who is passionate about providing a welcoming and compassionate experience for our patients and is eager to grow with our practice.
Key Responsibilities:
- Patient Scheduling: Coordinate appointments and procedures, ensuring smooth patient flow.
- Check-in & Check-out: Greet patients, collect necessary information, and assist with checkout.
- Data Entry: Collect and input patient information into our EMR (Electronic Medical Record) system.
- Patient Chart Management: Organize and handle patient charts as needed.
- Communication: Answer phone calls, respond to faxes and emails, and address patient inquiries in a timely and efficient manner.
- Payment Processing: Collect patient payments and enter them into the system.
- Assisting Staff: Provide support to staff with patient care and assist with minor procedures if desired.
- Coordinate Patient Referrals & OR Bookings: Manage patient referrals, assist with obtaining necessary documents, and coordinate OR bookings for procedures.
- Maintain facility: Keep reception and office areas in orderly and clean appearance and perform side work as required.
- Assist staff: as needed
The Ideal Candidate:
- Computer proficient.
- Comfortable using common sense to address various situations.
- Extremely organized, detail-oriented, and able to handle multiple tasks.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to be friendly, patient, and empathetic.
- Positive energy and a team-oriented mindset.
- Experience with EClinicalWorks (Preferred but not required).
Hours:
- Monday: 9 AM – 1 PM
- Tuesday: 9 AM – 5 PM
- Wednesday: 9 AM – 1 PM
- Thursday: 9 AM – 1 PM
- Friday: 9 AM – 1 PM
