Community-Based Counselor
Key West Area (Marathon–Key West)
Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of at-risk youth? We are seeking a dedicated Community-Based Counselor to provide essential preventative services and support to young individuals in our community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and provide individual, family, and group counseling.
- Develop and implement service plans to support at-risk youth.
- Offer case management services to ensure holistic care and resources.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with local schools and community agencies.
- Maintain thorough documentation and data entry for compliance and reporting.
- Engage in outreach efforts to strengthen community alliances.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree preferred in Social Work, Marriage & Family Counseling, Mental Health Counseling, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of professional experience in counseling, education, or a related field.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment.
- Proficiency in documentation and case management practices.
- Valid Florida driver’s license and ability to pass a background check.
