We are seeking a bilingual (English/Spanish) Front Desk/Certified Medical Assistant to join our fast-paced pediatric practice in Tavernier. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking for long-term employment and growth. Responsibilities include a mix of medical assistant tasks and front desk duties. Office Practicum EMR experience is a plus. Candidates must also have a solid understanding of medications and medical terminology.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Able to room a patient, do intake, vital signs and document accurately
- Demonstrate knowledge of injection sites.
- Have the ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos.
- Perform office procedures including general administrative duties (i.e. phones, scheduling, referrals).
- Collect patient demographics, data, vital signs, height, weight and basic information about patients' present and previous conditions.
- Arrange examining room instruments and equipment.
- Provide patient information and instructions.
Minimum Requirements:
- Strong computer skills required
- Working knowledge of medical terminology
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
