POSITION SUMMARY :
Responsible for designing, implementing and directing a hospital-wide Epidemiology / Infection Control Program. Responsibilities to include (but not limited to) surveillance, analysis, reporting and recording activities as well as setting standards and evaluating compliance for practices that are associated with the prevention and control of health-care associated infections. The Director complies with the mandates of required and regulatory agencies and communicates pertinent information to the senior management and medical staff.
