Job Title : Clinical Supervisor
Department : Family Practice
Position Summary
Full time position in our Family Practice Dade City Office. The Clinical Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the clinical staff within the department.
Essential Functions
- Supervises assigned clinical team members within the medical office.
- Participates in the hiring, supervision, and evaluation of assigned team members.
- Schedules staffing to meet changing workload needs.
- Identifies training needs for team members and facilitates development opportunities, this includes the evaluation of training, implementation, orientation, and participation of education programs.
- Develops, implements, monitors, and evaluates quality assurance activities, ensuring compliance with standards, laws, regulation and procedures. Recommends new and / or revised policies and procedures to the department.
- Functions as the certified insulin pump trainer for the department.
- Able to analyze medical records and documentation and identify problem areas.
- Able to collaborate effectively with physicians and administrative staff.
- Maintains reasonably regular, punctual attendance consistent with Orlando Health policies, the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards.
- Maintains compliance with all Orlando Health policies and procedures.

Licensure / Certification
Maintains current BLS Healthcare Provider Certification – and Maintains current certification by one of the following agencies :
Experience
Two (2) years of related experience required.
