We are looking for a Full Time BILINGUAL Medical Assistant for our offices in Wesley Chapel. Typical schedule is Monday-Friday 8AM-5PM.
Job Summary : Assists providers and manages clinical functions in the department. Dynamic, team player who is ready to work in a fast paced environment.
Minimum one year experience preferred. BILINGUAL PREFERRED

Completes the start of day processes and end of day processesUnlocks cabinets and doorsPowers up equipmentLogs on all work stations in exam room and work areaSets up medical supplies and equipment for the dayMaintains medical equipment; ensures all equipment is calibrated, cleaned, sterilized and chargedCollects red bags as necessaryMonitors and replaces sharps containers when neededStocks exam roomsCleans and sanitizes exam roomsOrganizes and maintains sample and supply closetsMaintains clinical supply inventoryEmpties HIPAA container into destruction binLogs off of all work stations including exam roomsLocks all cabinetsProperly room patientsTakes and records vitalsUpdates IEHR (allergies, medications, history, etc.)Assists in following appointment schedulePrepares exam roomPrepares patient for examination or treatmentObtains informed consents and ABN as necessaryNotifies provider when patient is readyAssists provider during examination and with treatmentAdministers injections and immunizations and records them in IEHRObtains consentsPrepares specimens and requisitions for lab courierPerforms testsHandles medication refill requestsObtains prescription overrides and prior authorization when neededDistributes, reviews, and teaches patient educationAssists provider with completion of forms requested by patientsMakes sure all ordered labs have been preformed and results are presentAddresses and handles all tasks, as well as monitoring provider's tasksReturns messagesNotifies patients of test results and instructions from providerSchedules follow up appointmentsEnters referral information into the Practice Management System for referral trackingEnters charges for services rendered by the medical assistantAdditional Responsibilities :
