Position Summary
Assists providers and manages clinical functions in the department
Located at our offices in Zephyrhills, FL
Essential Functions.
- Completes the start of day processes including powering up all equipment
- Properly room patients; complete all set up preparations
- Performs diagnostic studies and treatments as ordered by the provider
- Processes and assists provider with requests
- Handles patient and clinical messages :
- Distributes, reviews, and teaches patient education
- Prepares charts
- Confirms authorization has been obtained if required
- Complete all end of day processes.
- Maintains reasonably regular, punctual attendance consistent with Orlando Health policies, the ADA, FMLA, and other federal,
state, and local standards.

Licensure / Certification
Experience
Proficient at complete ophthalmic work ups including refraction,
applanation tonometry, motility. Ascans a plus
