Major Responsibilities: Support the maintenance of student’s records including program, class participation, schedules, grades and graduation dates. Complete the enrollment process. Manage, evaluate and post all placement test records. Support the Campus Registrar in student’s status change (LOA, future start). Support the Campus Registrar in the students’ schedule process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Communication Management: Respond promptly to daily communications via email and voicemail, addressing inquiries promptly and professionally.
- Policy Adherence and Ethical Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to the University's mission, policies, procedures, ethical standards, compliance with data protection regulations and pertinent legal regulations in all aspects of admission activities.
- University Engagement: Participate in Commencement Exercises, new student orientation, university events, committees, self-studies, and University Commencement Ceremonies.
- Special Projects: Execute special projects assigned by the President or supervisor.
- Compliance Adherence: Ensure compliance with Title IX of the Education Amendments Act of 1972, as well as FNU Policies, Procedures, Rules and Regulation, the FNU Code of Ethics, Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA), Florida Information Protection Act of 2014 (FIPA), the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), and all other applicable federal, state, and local laws, rules, and regulations.
- Assigned Duties: Undertake other assigned duties as required.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
- Completes the students’ registration process.
- Ensures all documentation is completed properly for new students and kept in the academic folder. (High School Diploma, transcripts, etc.)
- Responsible for the students’ files storage and security at all times.
- Administrates ESL placement tests to new students. Assists in the coordination of the ATB test.
- Enters computerized student test scores.
- Pre-schedules (set-up as future class) the remedial courses if applicable.
- Maintains the student Academic file with the required documentation.
- Obtains and follows-up transcripts requested/received.
- Complies with the Add and Drop period policy.
- Processes LOA requests.
- Updates student’s status for students returned from LOA.
- Collaborates with the retention efforts of the University.
- Changes the “being processed” status to “future start” of all new students, when the enrollment process is completed.
- Generates all the correspondence related to the Office of Registrar (Ex. LOA, letters grades, Academic standing, etc).
- Ensure that students’ records are kept according to FNU’s policies.
Required Qualifications and Experience:
· Associate degree, Bachelor preferred or higher from an accredited college or university.
- A minimum of three years of significant experience in college/university setting or similar.
- Knowledge of FERPA
- Computer literacy skills including functional knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and Word.

· English and Spanish are required.
Schedule:
§ Monday - Thursday: 2 days from 8:00am to 5:00pm and 2 days from 12:00pm to 9:00pm
§ *Fridays alternate (campus closes at 7pm) (8:00am to 5:00pm or 10:00am to 7:00pm)
