Generator Technician – Field Service
Location: South Florida
Florida Power House, Inc. is looking for an experienced Generator Technician to service, troubleshoot, and repair backup power systems at residential and commercial sites. If you have a strong mechanical background, electrical knowledge, and the ability to work independently, we want to hear from you.

What You’ll Do:
- Perform scheduled maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on standby power systems
- Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical and fuel issues with generators (gas & diesel)
- Read and interpret wiring diagrams and schematics for effective repairs
- Document all service and repair work through digital forms
- Maintain a stocked and organized service truck
- Work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Respond to emergency service calls as needed
- Use your own hand tools (specialty tools provided)
- Provide excellent customer service with clear communication
What We’re Looking For:
- 2 years of hands-on experience servicing generators or similar equipment
- Mechanical and electrical aptitude – ability to troubleshoot independently
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. and perform physically demanding tasks
- Valid Driver’s License & Clean Driving Record – travel to job sites required
- Strong communication & customer service skills
- Ability to comply with safety standards and use protective equipment
- Clear criminal record – background check required
