The Substation Electrician is located in our Broward Service Center in Oakland Park, Florida.
Job Overview
Performs trouble, repair, inspection, maintenance, and construction work in substations. Will lead a Substation Crew consisting of up to three personnel which may include no more than one journeyman (crew size and makeup will include the journeyman running the crew).

Minimum Requirements For Job
- Must have completed the joint Apprentice Program or an approximate equivalent.
- Must have a CDL.
- Must be capable of qualifying in substation switching.
- Be capable of working at heights in excess of 20 feet.
- Is capable of lifting OSHA Standard Loads.
- Is capable of working in confined spaces.
- Must be capable of maintaining time sheets, equipment reports, using hand held computers, read and work from prints.
- Commercial Driver's License
- Succssfl Completn-Joint Apprentice Prog
- Constr and Skilled Trades Test passed-CAST
