Are you an up-and-coming journalist with a nose for news and a knack for social media? Do you love the adrenaline rush of a breaking news story? Do you understand the importance of digital, social and print media and how they all can be used effectively to connect with your audience.
If so, then the Observer Media Group has an editorial opening for you on its award-winning staff. In this position, your primary role will be to increase our effectiveness as a digital news source through our website, OrangeObserver.com, as well as all our social media channels. We are looking for someone who can find nuggets of news to keep our community informed and entertained. You should be curious, quick, savvy and dependable.
Of course, as the newspaper of record for West Orange County, Florida, for 120 years, our company is built on a robust print edition. In this role, you also will contribute to our print content as a writer and photographer.
