We are looking for someone become a part of our family. We are a furniture distribution/moving and storage company that has been in business for almost 27 years. We offer a family atmosphere, good pay and health and dental benefits paid at 75% after 90 days. Happy people only need apply.
We need a detailed person to help perform maintenance and janitorial duties within our offices, warehouse and interior and exterior building as well as maintenance and janitorial services at rental properties and owners residence. You will need assist with maintenance items for the company president. You may need to use a company vehicle to run errands so you will need a valid driver’s license and a good driving record to be placed on our insurance. You will perform light pressure cleaning, box truck cleaning (inside and out), and take care of handyman duties a such as light sanding, light paint touchup, and small repairs around the facility. Duties include keeping our trucks, facilities and rental properties, maintained, clean and organized. You will need to keep the breakroom, restrooms, offices and outdoor eating areas clean, breezeways, rental properties spic and span. You will need to keep supplies organized and tidy.
A daily agenda, weekly agenda and monthly agenda is to be followed and each day a new project may be necessary to assist in maintaining warehouse. Patching, painting, sanding, sealing, sawing, repairing, fixtures, furniture, building parts, fans, vehicle issues such as gluing carpet, tightening screws, taking off a window panel to fix a handle, etc. whatever comes our way you need to be handy and be able to repair things. You may asked to lay mulch, fix a gate entry. (anything). You may be asked to assist the warehouse crew loading the dumpsters with packaging debris from opened furniture items. Each day varies however there is also a set of duties that remain constant.
