Our company is rapidly expanding, and we are looking for a motivated, detail-oriented professional to take on a hybrid role bridging warehouse operations and office administration.
Comprehensive Hands-On Training for Career Growth
This position includes hands-on training designed to build a strong foundation in warehouse operations before transitioning into an advanced leadership role. You will start from the ground up, mastering all warehouse tasks and inventory procedures before moving into office responsibilities training and overseeing warehouse logistics and truck logistics.
Phase 1: Hands-On Warehouse Training
Learn to receive and inspect inventory, ensuring accuracy and quality.
Learn dock management of incoming and outgoing product.
Master warehouse procedures including labeling, storage, and damage reporting.
Use moving equipment such as pallet jacks, dollies, and hand trucks.
Assist in loading and unloading trucks and managing dock, warehouse and truck operations.
Work alongside warehouse staff to understand workflow and operational challenges.
Phase 2: Office & Leadership Training
Transition into a hybrid warehouse-office role, acting as a liaison between departments.
Learn inventory software, scheduling, and warehouse logistics planning.
Work closely with the Warehouse Manager & Operations Manager to coordinate daily tasks.
Oversee crew delegation, truck loading/unloading, and order fulfillment.
Manage warehouse agendas, plan upcoming schedules, and ensure operational efficiency.
Phase 3: Final Role as Operations Administrator
Assist in employee training and supervision, ensuring best practices are followed.
Oversee inventory accuracy, warehouse workflow, and process improvements.
Act as a point of contact for customer pickups, inventory tracking, and scheduling.
Continuously seek ways to improve efficiency and communication between departments.
Key Responsibilities
Work alongside warehouse and office teams to oversee and streamline daily operations.
Assist with truck unloading, order verification, and inventory management.
Communicate any inventory discrepancies or warehouse issues to management.
Ensure all work orders, shipments, and deliveries are accounted for properly.
Help coordinate daily schedules, truck assignments, and warehouse crew tasks.
Serve as a trainer and mentor for new warehouse and office employees.
Maintain an organized and efficient warehouse and dock area.
Assist with customer pickups and ensure staging for next-day shipments.
What We’re Looking For
✔ Previous experience in warehouse management, logistics, moving & storage, or inventory control is a plus.
✔ Leadership and employee management experience—must be able to train and oversee staff.
✔ Strong computer proficiency—ability to navigate warehouse management software.
✔ Forklift and narrow aisle forklift experience is a plus (or willingness to be certified).
✔ Truck driving or logistics planning experience is beneficial.
✔ Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills in a fast-paced environment.
✔ Strong communication skills—must effectively liaise between warehouse and office staff.
✔ Physical ability to lift 40 lbs unassisted and operate moving equipment as needed.
