What you'll do
- Employee will work with other ATF Attendants to learn all aspects of ATF pasteurization, juice export, mechanical troubleshooting, summer rebuilds, performing Lab Technician duties plus any other duties necessary to help keep the ATF functional and operational.
- Employee will learn to effectively communicate with other departments within FNG.
- Employee will be self-motivated working with others in the team to efficiently manage daily tasks within the ATF.
- Must have excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to learn to perform complex hose and spool piece connections to redirect flow as required.
- Periodic evaluations with employee will be performed to communicate training progression accomplishments and needs.
- Regular attendance required.
- Must interact cordially with co-workers.
- Active participation and support of the plant safety program is required.
- Must pass the Mechanical Aptitude Test with a score of at least 70%.
- This is needed to facilitate troubleshooting of ATF equipment (FranRica and APV pasteurizer,CIP and Oil Recovery systems, Bulk Tanks, valves, pumps, solenoids, flow meters, etc.).
- Must be able to perform mathematical calculations using flow rates, time, temperature and percentages.
- Attend Team meetings and participate as an active Team member within the ATF Team.
- Perform any other duties assigned.
- Due to the significant amount of steps/stairs contained in our production facility, employees must have the ability to navigate steps/stairs in a safe manner.
What we're looking for
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Must be able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in relevant units of measure including inches, gallons, time, Brix, pounds, temperature (F/C), GPM's using whole numbers and decimals.
- Must have ability to compute rate, ratio and percent.
- Example, be able to convert tank level into gallons or be able to estimate total gallons produced within a certain time frame.
- Must pass Basic Skills Assessment and Mechanical Aptitude test.
- Previous sterilizer or thermal related equipment experience preferred.Aseptic Tank Farm experience or Aseptic technique/practices preferred.
- Must have prior experience in an industrial environment for at least 12 months Employee must have a high level of attention to details.
- Employee must be self-motivated with ability to work without direct Supervision.
- Employee must have previous exposure and knowledge to current GMP practices.
- Employee must have basic computer skills or automation interaction.
- Employee will learn to prepare daily tracking reports in KEA and Excel based programs required to record daily production analysis and also maintenenace logs.
- Employee will use email to communicate with production, QA, the ATF Team and Management.
- Must have or be able to obtain a FNG class C forklift license within 30 days.
- Must be able to frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- During summer rebuilds and maintenance, employee must be able to lift 75 pounds with assistance from a coworker.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to wet and/or cold conditions, moving mechanical parts, toxic or caustic chemicals and vibration.
- Will be exposed to elevated heights up to 75 feet.
- During general clean-ups employee will be required to use all personal protective equipment.
- Employee must be able to read, understand and follow written procedures and instructions.
Salary : $24 - $27
