As a Director Strategic Innovation at Florida’s Natural, you’ll work alongside Growth and Innovation team to drive the innovation strategy for the beverage portfolio, creating and managing a robust pipeline of new products, and fostering a culture of creativity and consumer focus. The Director of Strategic Innovation will oversee portfolio management, identify and leverage market and consumer insights, and ensure the successful execution of new product launches and post-launch evaluations. This role is within the Growth and Innovation Business Unit, serving cross-functional teams including Marketing, R&D, Sales, and Operations.
What you’ll do:
- Lead cross-functional teams to conceptualize, develop, and validate a dynamic pipeline of new beverage products.
- Monitor, analyze, and act on market trends, consumer behavior, and competitive activity.
- Translate insights into actionable opportunities for product and portfolio development.
- Develop and maintain the beverage innovation portfolio, ensuring alignment with company growth objectives and market trends.
- Foster an environment that encourages creativity, experimentation, and calculated risk-taking.
- Champion innovation best practices and tools within the organization.
- Design and execute market research initiatives to identify unmet needs, test concepts, and validate new product opportunities.

- Evaluate new product performance post-launch, measuring against key metrics such as sales, market share, and consumer feedback.
What we’re looking for:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business with a minor in Marketing required
- MBA preferred.
- Certification in Design Thinking or Agile Methodology a plus.
- 10 years of experience in Brand Management/Innovation with CPG Food/Beverage companies with at least 5 years in Innovation role(s).
- Proven track record of leading end-to-end product innovation processes from concept to commercialization.
- 5 years of experience in cross-functional team leadership.
- Deep understanding of consumer insights, market research methodologies, and trend analysis.
- Practical experience with tools like Nielsen, IRI, Mintel, and consumer panels.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills to influence stakeholders across all levels of the organization.
- Resourceful in finding cost effective research and creative solutions to mine consumer insights, developing new product concepts, and testing market potential.
- Must be able to work on-site two days per week.
- Role is non-relocation eligible; candidates must reside within commuting distance.
