What you’ll do:
- Supervises and coordinates activities of maintenance workers engaged in setting up, installing, repairing, and maintaining production and facilities machinery and equipment, and in fabricating metal parts, fixtures, jigs and tools.
- Oversees and ensures timely preventative and repair maintenance of all heat exchangers/hotsets, and 25 horsepower motors.
- Responsible for efficient and cost-effective operation of Plant Services Machine Shop, Metal supply storeroom, Pump Repair Shop, Hotset Preventative Maintenance Program, Large Horsepower Motor Lubrication and Maintenance, and Equipment Reliability Improvement Program.
- Rotates weekend or holiday work assignment with other Plant Maintenance Supervisors and assumes responsibility for entire maintenance effort during the weekend/holiday.
- Responsible for facilitation of team meetings and team problem solving activities, and career counseling for team members.
- Regular attendance required. Must interact cordially with co-workers.
What we’re looking for:
- Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school, or five years related experience required.
- experience may include a combination of work experience and education
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
- Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
- Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
- To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Oracle, CMMS, MS Excel and MS Word software.
- American Welding Society certification preferred; Obtaining and maintaining FNG Forklift Operator License required.
