We operate three traditional sleep away camps and a traveling day camp program.
Job Description
The Kitchen Aide assists in food preparation and serving at the chuckwagon, ensuring high standards of cleanliness and sanitation.
This role involves working in a team environment and supporting Cooks in providing quality food services.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve food to youth, staff, and guests in a friendly and efficient manner.
- Maintain the cleanliness and attractiveness of food, equipment, and kitchen areas.
- Work closely with Cooks to ensure quality food services and health standards.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Camp Director.
Requirements
A high school diploma or GED is required, with prior food service experience preferred.
On-the-job training will be provided for those who lack experience but show willingness to learn.
ServSafe Food Handler certification must be obtained within 14 days of employment.
