WHAT YOU'LL DO

The Library Assistant I performs work involving library functions and services. Incumbents primarily function in one of several specific areas, but participate in cross training to ensure efficient coverage. The primary duties of this position involve all aspects of circulation of library materials.

At a minimum, the selected candidate must have a high school diploma or high school equivalency with one (1) year of general office or business experience. Additionally, the preferred candidate must have an Associates degree and one (1) year of library experience.
