Admin II

- Assists with student paperwork filing, record keeping, and provides information concerning department or university procedures to students or refers the students to the appropriate offices.
- Assists with classroom scheduling, works with the Registrar's Office to update classrooms, times, etc.
- Monitors enrollment and authorizes closed class requests. Advises on class statuses based on enrollment.
- Maintains and creates lists/reports on various data including student information, budgetary reports, etc. Prepares memos, letters, tables, and graphs as requested by the Department Head. Drafts and documents/reports for the department.
- Receives and responds to moderately complex correspondence following university or department procedures. Solves general problems for guests/students about department.
- Answers telephone calls and greets visitors. Answers questions and provides general information about the department or refers to appropriate person/department.
- Performs general office support such as sorting/distributing mail, copying/scanning documents, filing, and supply inventory.
- Assists with the budget. Makes purchases and creates expense reports for the department.
- Prepares hiring requests and payment details for students, adjuncts, and summer faculty in Workday.
- Other projects as requested by the department faculty or Department Head.
Education:
- High school diploma or GED

The federal Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act (Clery Act) requires colleges and universities, both public and private, participating in federal student aid programs to disclose campus safety information and impose certain basic requirements for handling incidents of sexual violence and emergency situations.
Florida Tech’s 2024 Annual Security and Fire Safety Report includes statistics for the previous three years concerning reported crimes that occurred on campus, in certain off-campus buildings or property owned or controlled by Florida Tech, and on public property within, or immediately adjacent to and accessible from, the campus.
The numbers provided include crime statistics reported to local law enforcement agencies, campus security and other Campus Security Authorities.
The report also includes institutional policy statements regarding campus safety and security measures, descriptions of prevention and awareness programs, related university procedures and important guidance, and other essential safety information.

Official Transcripts
