Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our imaging team. Job Responsibilities:
- Imaging Procedures: Perform diagnostic imaging procedures including X-rays and computed tomography (CT) scans, following established protocols and safety standards.
- Patient Care: Prepare patients for imaging procedures by explaining the process, positioning them correctly, and providing comfort and reassurance.
- Image Quality: Ensure high-quality images by calibrating and operating imaging equipment, adjusting settings as needed, and performing routine equipment maintenance.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of procedures performed, patient information, and imaging results. Ensure proper documentation and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Safety and Compliance: Adhere to radiation safety protocols and infection control practices to protect patients and staff. Ensure compliance with all regulatory and organizational standards.
- Collaboration: Work closely with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to discuss imaging results and contribute to patient care planning.
- Equipment Management: Operate and maintain imaging equipment, report any malfunctions or issues, and assist in troubleshooting technical problems.
- Professional Development: Stay updated with advancements in radiologic technology by participating in continuing education and training programs.
Job Requirements:
- Must-Haves:
- Degree in Radiologic Sciences (e.g., Associate of Applied Science in Radiologic Technology, Bachelor of Science in Radiologic Sciences).
- Diagnostic Radiography Certification.
- Licensed as a Registered Radiologic Technologist (RRT) in the state of Ohio.
- Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
- Computed Tomography (CT) Certification.
Skills and Abilities:
- Proficiency in performing diagnostic imaging procedures and operating imaging equipment.
