About the Role: We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team of medical professionals. As a Pediatric Medical Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and timely medical care of children in our care.
Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional medical care to residents, adhering to state and federal regulations.
- Serve as an on-call point of contact for medical incidents.
- Maintain consistent communication with medical personnel regarding ongoing medical needs.
- Ensure Treatment Authorization Requests for all necessary appointments and procedures.
- Cultivate collaborative relationships with designated health management organizations.
- Demonstrate expertise in Residing Hope and Everstand/Office of Refugee Resettlement Policy and Procedures.
Requirements:
- A strong background in pediatric medicine, preferably with 3 years of experience.
- An active Florida Registered Nurse license is mandatory.
- Excellent knowledge of medication administration, medical abbreviations, and terminology.
- Basic computer proficiency, including MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- The ability to interact positively with a caring and nurturing attitude.
