PAYROLL SPECIALIST (Full-time, Hourly, Non-Exempt)
This position involves the preparation of computerized payroll and assisting the Controller in the completion of various duties.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Associate's Degree in Accounting, Business Administration or related field of study and two (2) years' experience in a payroll or accounting role preferred; or any combination of training, education and experience which would provide the required knowledge, abilities and skills to successfully perform in this role.
- Knowledge of general accounting principles, relevant legislature, policies and regulations.
- Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience in data collection, entry and reporting with attention to detail and confidentiality.
- A minimum of two years payroll experience, required. Experience using Paylocity for payroll functions, preferred.
- Experience with employee benefits and other accounting functions, preferred.
- Must be able to work independently and resolve complex issues in a time-sensitive environment.

Schedule
This position works eight (8) hour shifts with the opportunity to take a one hour unpaid break, five days per week. Schedule may be subject to change at any time, with or without notice. Other policies concerning this position are set forth in the current policies and procedures manual.
