Manatee Memorial Hospital and Lakewood Ranch Medical Center are seeking a highly skilled Neurohospitalist to provide exceptional inpatient services at both hospitals in Manatee County. The schedule for this position is 7 days on / 7 days off. The ideal candidate must be Board Certified / Board Eligible in General Neurology and possess an active Florida medical license. As a Neurohospitalist, you will have the opportunity to treat a wide spectrum of neurological disorders and provide consultative neurology services to inpatients. The role requires proficiency in acute stroke care and the ability to work collaboratively with a support team, including clinical nurse specialists, stroke coordinators, and dedicated care management professionals. Comprehensive onsite neurosurgery services are available to support patient care needs.
Qualifications :
- Board Certified / Board Eligible in General Neurology
- Active Florida medical license
- Proficiency in acute stroke care and treatment of neurological disorders
- Strong clinical and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
- Commitment to providing high-quality patient care
