Position General Summary :

The Enrollment Support Specialist performs duties associated with all Virtual School Administrator (VSA) enrollment operations for FLVS and acts as the primary system administrator for Labs and FLEX K-12. The Enrollment Support Specialist provides guidance and assistance regarding the resolution of enrollment-related problems, Level 2 escalated issues as it pertains to Franchise, VSA for FLEX and FT, and Instructional Leadership loading reports. The Enrollment Support Specialist works to resolve escalated site-based lab issues, organizes and reports site-based lab enrollment data to a variety of departments and ensures the accuracy, efficiency, and timeliness of credit enrollments.

Essential Position Functions :

  • Act as a primary system administrator for VSA enrollment operations for FLVS site-based labs
  • Act as a liaison to the DRM's and Instructional Leaders to facilitate reservations, reports, transfers, etc
  • Act as a primary system administrator for VSA Flex K-5.
  • Works proactively with FLVS Flex K-5 school counselors with student status changes, placements, transfers, etc
  • Monitor site-based Lab enrollments and delivers data to all departments involved in site-based Labs
  • Oversee all requests and escalated issues pertaining to site-based Labs, Elementary Flex and Full Time K-12.
  • Work proactively with the IT Department as needed to resolve technical issues related to enrollment
  • Track effectiveness of established policies and procedures, reporting findings to the Senior Enrollment Manager
  • Provide training and support to other staff as needed
  • Meet professional obligations through efficient work habits such as, meeting deadlines, honoring schedules, coordinating resources and meetings in an effective and timely manner, and demonstrate respect for others

Minimum Requirements :

Education :

  • Associate's Degree; or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
  • Experience :

  • Two years' relevant experience, preferably in school operations
  • One year experience in hardware / software support, preferred

  • Experience organizing, prioritizing, and scheduling work assignments
  • Knowledge, abilities and skills :

  • Possesses a proficient knowledge of computer operation and office software
  • Strong knowledge of help desk procedures
  • Requires strong communication and teaming skills
  • Ability to function effectively in a high demand environment
  • Ability to exercise independent judgment to adopt or modify methods and standards to meet assigned duties
  • Knowledge of VSA administration, preferred
