What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Lawyer position at Florida Women’s Law Group?
We are looking for an experienced senior attorney to help our clients achieve favorable outcomes with legal matters. You will advocate for clients, advise them on the best course of action, and implement their legal support plan. You should have previous litigation experience, be able to manage a heavy caseload and use your experience and interpersonal skills to delegate to support staff. - Draft legal documents, such as pleadings, motions, notices, and discovery requests and responses
- Argue motions in court on behalf of clients during legal proceedings
- Anticipate, prepare for, and attend trials, mediation, and arbitration on behalf of clients
- Stay updated on changing applicable laws and statutes on the local, state, and federal levels
- Applicants must have trial, mediation, and arbitration representation experience
- Bachelor’s degree with a law degree from an accredited law school (such as an LLM, JSD, or J.D. degree)
- Exceptional time management and interpersonal skills are desired, as are exceptional writing and verbal communication skills
- 4 years of family law experience
- Member of Florida Bar in good standing
