Branch Supervisor - Port Charlotte
To assist in the operations of a Credit Union branch, ensuring the branch meets organizational financial, operational, service, and growth plans. Maintains the operation of the branch in the manager's absence. Responsible for cross selling all credit union products and services to achieve corporate goals.
Major Duties and Responsibilities
Experience: Two to five years of similar or related experience, including time spent in preparatory positions.
Education/Certifications/Licenses: (1) A two-year college degree or (2) Completion of a specialized course of study at a business or trade school or (3) Completion of a specialized and extensive in house training or apprenticeship program. Requires NMLS and 02-29 CREDIT Insurance License Appointment, OR Successful Application, Issuance, and Appointment of NMLS and 02-29 CREDIT License Within 90 Days to be Eligible for Continued Employment

Major Duties and Responsibilities
- Performs Member Service Functions on a daily basis as needed. Processes consumer loans up to the amount assigned per credit union policy.
- Monitors all branch activities to insure they are in compliance with established credit union policies and procedures. Responsible for ensuring the completion of a CTR for every cash transaction received and/or disbursed exceeding $10,000.00. This is inclusive of multiple cash transactions that are done on behalf of the same person in one business day and the manager has knowledge of such transaction. After the CTR has completed it must be approved by being initialed by the Manager before forwarding the completed form to the operations team for final approval. In addition, it is the responsibility of the Manager to make the compliance officer aware of any suspicious conduct and/or transactions that they feel are warranted. The compliance officer will make the determination of whether a SAR should be generated after reviewing the information.
- Directs, develops, coaches, and motivates staff, and assists the Branch Manager with hiring and discipline of branch personnel; assists with performance evaluations and recommends appropriate personnel actions.
- Represents the branch as appropriate in its relationships with members, suppliers, other financial institutions, and similar groups.
- Performs teller duties of paying and receiving as needed.
- To develop sales and service skills necessary to cross sell credit union products to our members.
- All employees are made aware of their responsibilities under the BSA/CIP/OFAC regulations with continuing training, to ensure that they adhere to our internal policy and procedures.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
