SRG Stairs of SRG Ventures is an industry leader in bringing custom stairs, blinds, and floors to the residential home market. We are currently hiring for a full-time Warehouse Associate & Safety Rail Installer to join our growing Austin, TX team.
This position will report to the Warehouse Supervisor, and will be responsible for supporting the warehouse operations to help maintain continued efficiency and effectiveness in the warehouse workflows.
Key Position Details:
This position will regularly be exposed to an outdoor non-climate controlled environment, operating of a motor vehicle on roadways, operating of machinery to include, but not limited to, a forklift, lifting of up to 50 lbs, as well as other physical activities including, but not limited to, bending, stooping, standing, walking, seeing, and reaching.

- High school diploma or equivalent GED
- Three years of experience working in a warehouse support role, or similar capacity; or
- An equivalent combination of education and work experience
- Active and valid forklift certification for sit down forklift required
- Active and valid TX driver's license with clear driving record required
- Must have clear criminal background
- Must be able to pass a drug and alcohol screen if offered employment
- Pull inventory and stage all orders for delivery or pick-up in a courteous and timely manner
- Receive materials from delivery trucks and installer returns, and process paperwork
- Organize workflow to meet customer deadlines
- Utilize BOLT software for order schedules and pick tickets
- Responsible for maintaining accurate inventory through the receiving process, order pulling and order check-out
- Support team members through service and flexibility
- Become knowledgeable on all material
- Assist in deliveries as instructed and scheduled by the Warehouse Supervisor (WS)
- Organize and re-stock inventory to maximize order pulling efficiency
- Perform cycle counts in coordination with warehouse supervisory personnel
- Work with team members to cut items to include wood handrail and blinds using appropriate tools and machines
- Report any discrepancies or issues with our product to appropriate warehouse supervisory personnel
- Become knowledgeable on, and perform the completion of, safety rail installation and blinds installation
- Operate a forklift and pallet jack
- Communicate effectively with other internal departments including, without limitation, warehouse supervisory personnel, sales, and installation, to provide routine updates and related information essential to consistently meeting sales goals and customer expectations
- Develops a daily route based on the schedule of installations
- Ensures all needed materials and tools are on hand and timely loaded into the transport vehicle to complete daily installations
- Installs safety rail components for residential new home construction
- Removes safety rail components based upon a daily software scheduling system/application
- Updates computer applications and systems used internally by the company to maintain the status of each job, and to include photos of completed work
- Maintains a clean work area at all times
- Reports issues, concerns, and matters in need of attention to the appropriate personnel, and in a timely manner
- Interacts regularly with internal personnel within the company, as well as with external personnel (i.e. contractors), to support the overall completion of each project in a quality, accurate, and timely manner
- Demonstrates proficient mechanical aptitude in operating a drill, tape measure, and other tools, as needed
- Demonstrates proficient ability to safely, effectively, and efficiently lift and carry pipes, and related equipment, up and down stairs
- Demonstrates proficient ability to safely, effectively, and efficiently load and unload vehicles (i.e. trucks) used in transporting/carrying the tools, pipes, and related equipment for each job
- Operates a motor vehicle in a safe, effective, efficient, and law abiding manner at all times
- Performs all duties in accordance with all company and industry related safety requirements, policies, practices, and protocols
- Reports unsafe working/job site conditions immediately to the appropriate personnel for timely remedial attention
- Performs all duties in accordance with industry specific and company policies, procedures, practices, and protocols
- Performs all job duties in an ethical, respectful, team-oriented, and accountable manner at all times
- Performs other duties as assigned
