Job Description
Flourish Education is currently recruiting for a Science Teacher to join an Ofsted-rated ‘GOOD' secondary school in Sandwell. The school is well-regarded for its inclusive and supportive environment, with modern facilities and a strong focus on academic achievement and student development. It has a dedicated Science department that encourages hands-on, practical learning to inspire curiosity and engagement in the subject.
The successful Science Teacher will be teaching all three sciences across Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4) , delivering lessons that align with the National Curriculum . This is a full-time role starting after Easter and continuing until July.
The Science Teacher role :
- Full class teaching responsibilities, including planning and marking.
- Teaching Biology, Chemistry, and Physics to Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4) students.
- Ensuring high standards of teaching and learning in line with the National Curriculum .
- Implementing effective behaviour management strategies.
- Assessing and monitoring student progress, providing constructive feedback.
- Working collaboratively with the department to enhance student engagement.
