Part-Time Bookkeeper

We specialize in providing bookkeeping and business consulting services to female entrepreneurs in the creative and service industries. We are a fast growing firm and are looking for someone who would like to grow with us.

We're seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Part-Time Bookkeeper to join our team for 5-10 hours per week, with flexible hours and remote work options. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in bookkeeping and organizational skills, ideally with experience in part-time roles.

Preference will be given to candidates in the Nashville/Mt. Juliet area who can attend in-person meetings 1-2 times per month. 

Job Responsibilities:

• Manage bookkeeping for multiple clients
• Categorize transactions in QuickBooks and cross-reference data across CRM platforms
• Perform bank and credit card reconciliations to ensure record accuracy
• Prepare monthly financial reports for internal review
• Assist in quarterly financial reviews
• Help with collecting W-9s from vendors and prepare 1099 filings

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in bookkeeping or a similar role
• Proficiency in QuickBooks Online
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work independently and prioritize effectively
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Availability to work 5-10 hours per week within the Central Time Zone, with potential for increased hours based on performance and interest
• Entrepreneurial mindset and interest in business growth

Preferred Qualifications:

• Associate's degree or higher in Accounting or a related field
• Experience working remotely or in a virtual team environment
