Summary:
The Business Development Associate is responsible is to identify new customer sales opportunities and manage existing business.
Responsibilities:
Develop new accounts and implement plans for growth in existing accounts, using consultative selling and closing skills.
Nurture leads with goal of converting them to customers and managing referrals from existing customers.
Grow existing accounts through organic selling (suggest other products and services) and refer to outside sales team potential significant opportunities.
Provide accurate quotes and follow-up, order entry into order fulfillment system to initiate sales process.
Develop and maintain product and industry knowledge.
Continually provide feedback on sales opportunities to outside sales.
Close customer deals
Track weekly, monthly and quarterly performance and sales metrics.
Set up sales call opportunities for Outside Sales Representative
Initiate calls to customers with information requiring product knowledge, expediting responses, order delays, order status, production delays, credit problems, etc.

Provide timely (within 24 hours) feedback to customers regarding any changes in order status, beyond original quotation
Provide customers with a personalized level of customer service that reinforces the importance of customer satisfaction.
Practice and adhere to Company operating procedures, process, policies and core values.
