Abilities/Responsibilities:
Lead medium-sized projects (up to $250K) and support larger projects.
Intermediate knowledge of vision, controls, and robotics.
Mentor both interns and new engineers.
Develop customer training materials.
Qualifications:
4-6 years of professional experience with industrial automation technologies
BS degree in an engineering specialty with a preference towards Electrical or Mechanical engineering
Technical Qualifications:
Familiarity with automation brands typically utilized by TAG Solutions including:
Robotics: Epson, Universal Robots, FANUC
Machine Vision: Cognex, LMI, SICK , Teledyne
Controls: Emerson, Allen-Bradley, Siemens
Understanding of basic electrical design principles using software applications such as AutoCAD
Understanding of basic mechanical design principles using software application such as Fusion 360
Other Qualifications:
A valid driver’s license.
Complete some overnight travel when required at customer sites or training locations, including occasional stays for 3-4 nights. Most work is local or regional, but could be nationwide.

The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
