Summary: As a Pump and Fan Mechanic, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of both pumps and fans used in various industrial, commercial, and residential settings. Your expertise will ensure the efficient operation of pumps and fans, contributing to the smooth functioning of systems they are a part of. Key Responsibilities: Installation: Properly install new pumps and fans according to manufacturer specifications and industry standards. This may involve setting up piping, fittings, electrical connections, and other components to ensure optimal performance and safety. Maintenance: Conduct routine maintenance on pumps and fans to prevent breakdowns and prolong their lifespan. This includes inspecting components, lubricating moving parts, cleaning, replacing worn-out parts, and testing for functionality. Repair: Diagnose and repair malfunctioning pumps and fans promptly to minimize downtime. This involves troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic issues, and executing repairs effectively to restore functionality. Calibration: Calibrate pumps and fans to ensure accurate performance as per required specifications. This may involve adjusting settings, replacing sensors, and verifying performance against established standards. Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols and procedures while working with pumps, fans, and related equipment. Maintain a safe work environment by following established guidelines and using personal protective equipment (PPE) as necessary. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, parts replaced, and other relevant information for both pumps and fans. This includes updating equipment logs, service reports, and taking clear photos. Customer Service: Interact with clients in a professional manner, addressing their concerns and providing assistance as needed for both pump and fan systems. Communicate effectively to explain technical issues, proposed solutions, and maintenance schedules. Training: Stay updated on advancements in pump and fan technology, repair techniques, and safety practices through training programs and self-study. Share knowledge and best practices with colleagues to enhance team expertise. Attention to Detail: Pay close attention to detail when performing tasks to ensure accuracy and prevent potential issues such as leaks or faulty installations. Overtime Work: Willingness to work overtime as needed, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to accommodate maintenance schedules, urgent repairs, and unexpected equipment failures.  Physical Labor Requirements: Ability to perform tasks that involve physical labor, including lifting, carrying, and manipulating heavy equipment and components weighing up to 75lbs for both pump and fan systems. Comfortable working in environments that may require bending, stooping, kneeling, and standing for extended periods. Capable of working in confined spaces and at heights, following proper safety procedures and using appropriate safety equipment for both pump and fan installations and repairs. Strength and stamina to handle the demands of manual labor associated with pump and fan installation, maintenance, and repair activities. Willingness to work in various weather conditions and environments, including hot and cold conditions, outdoor settings, and industrial facilities. Adherence to ergonomic principles to prevent workplace injuries and promote safe lifting techniques. Ability to collaborate with team members to safely and efficiently accomplish tasks that require physical exertion for both pump and fan systems.

Salary : $30 - $36
