Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Product Assembly
- Assembly of an entire product or component of a product using hand tools, power tools, fixtures, and templates.
- Use prints or spec sheets, and verbal and written instructions to assemble, modify, troubleshoot, rework, or reassemble units.
- Sets and operates a machine for the purpose of assembling, processing, or repairing individual products.
- Properly follows the established process and the process parameters.
- Keep the work area, equipment, machines, clean and orderly at all times.
- Maintains supplies by checking stock, anticipating, and requesting supplies.
- Must perform as a team member with the willingness and attitude to work with others to resolve problems.
- Work at different stations as production needs require.
- Perform quality inspections at every step in the process to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Monitoring the quality of components and clearly communicating to the supervisory team of any issues.
Preferred Skills
Job Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities
- Ability to use hands tools, ratchets.
- Familiarity with reading technical prints and diagrams.
- Ability to stand, sit and/or walk on a hard surface safely bend, stoop, reach and use ladder up to 8 hours a day, occasionally up to 12 hours per day.
- Ability to perform visual inspection of all components and finished subassemblies.
- Ability to perform at a high pace environment and be able to work well under pressure.
- Must have good mobility and must be able to routinely lift loads of 25-65 lbs.
- Participates in and comply with all occupational safety programs sponsored by the company.
- Basic knowledge of PC usage required to include using a mouse, Microsoft Windows, and data entry operations.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out oral or written instructions.
