Warehouse Lead

Summary: The Warehouse Lead is responsible for Shipping and Receiving. They are responsible for staging parts for Service jobs. They are responsible for helping the technicians load their service trucks. Putting up inventory and keeping the warehouse neat and clean. The job requires picking up parts and from time to time delivering parts to job sites that our service technicians are on. Duties will include ordering parts and learning how to order regular parts and emergency parts. The Warehouse Lead will wear a uniform and keep themselves neat and presentable. They must know how to drive and use a forklift. They are also required to attend safety classes.  Responsibilities: Responsible for inventory control  Keep the warehouse clean and neat. Forklift efficient. Order entry and computer literate. Stage parts for Service Jobs Load and unload trucks. Pick-up and Deliver parts. Answer the phones as needed. Help with inventory. Ability to travel to assist other company technicians as needed. Competencies: Good Communication, Customer Service and Consultative Skills. Strong work ethic with ability to work under minimal supervision. Reliable and punctual Able to use computer and service software. Must live within 1 hour of the Charlotte NC facility located at 3915 Shopton Rd. Willing to train the right candidate Position Type/Expected Hours of Work: This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, but candidate must be able to work flexible hours. Evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand. Travel: Local travel is expected with this position. Required Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent. Must have Mechanical Aptitude. Previous work history with a service based organization  Additional Eligibility Qualifications: The ability to pass government background checks and regular drug screening. P21 is a plus but not a requirement  Required License and certifications: Must have a valid, unexpired driver’s license. Good driving record.
