Flow Distribution is seeking a packaging associate to assist with various tasks in our busy cannabis extraction lab. This position will be able to work quickly and efficiently while also multitasking. Responsibilities will include maintaining glassware, grinding and packing material, and lab cleanup.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Count, sort, label, seal, box, tape and pack inventory
- Maintain packaging goals effectively paced as a team
goal of 50-75 units per hour when handling concentrates
Perform quality control and handling of inventory in a detailed mannerCommunicate to lab management if product or production is unsatisfactory in any wayCommunicate to lab management if discrepancies are found during quality control checksMaintain compliance, safety and sanitation of work area according to SOP's and completely after shiftPerform and maintain personal and brand production goals as set by Lab Manager daily, weekly and monthlyEnsure work area is staged for packaging for next shiftPerform other duties and tasks as assigned by Lab ManagerMust be able to life 50 lbsProlonged sitting and standingFollow Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)Enhancing laboratory by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests while exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishmentsAdditional tasks as neededQUALIFICATIONS :
Prior lab experience is desirable but not requiredMust have reliable transportationMust be 21 years of age and authorized to work in the US with proper employment documentation.Must have or be willing to obtain a Facility Agent Card through AZDHSHave weekend availabilityMust be able to lift at least 40 poundsThe above responsibilities describe the general description and level of work only.
