POSITION SUMMARY
The technicians are for executing post-harvest, processing, and packaging plans in keeping with the Company's operating procedures for cannabis production. Technicians conduct the day-to-day assignments and tasks of the cannabis production cycle, including packaging, and labeling of cannabis. The Post-Harvest Technician will assist with the harvest of the plant to trimming. The job can be described as fast-paced, highly repetitive, with a great deal of manual labor. The ideal candidate will have a positive "can-do" attitude and will respect team members, the plants, and the facility. They should have the ability to manage high stress and high urgency situations and be flexible and adaptable when a situation requires it. Most importantly, attendance and punctuality are critical to the success of this role.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES/TASKS
- Hanging Plants
- Bucking Plants
- Handling Drying Racks
- Destemming Plants
- Take Direction from Managers and Supervisors.
- Hand Manicure Leaves from Flowers
- Manicure Excess Stems from Flowers
- Consistently Produce Quality Products
- Record strain trimming patterns, stresses, and other techniques based on cultivar.
- Must be able to clearly convey any information about plants, machines, and activities within the post-harvest function.
- Stay on task when working as an individual.
- Meet or Exceed Weekly Production Standards
- Ability to work collectively and respectfully both independently and in a team environment.
- Follow all safety standards and abide by PPE requirements.

ADDITIONAL DUTIES AS REQUIRED
- Participate in ongoing education and professional development, as needed.
- Identify hazards, reports accidents, incidents, and near-miss situations through the proper channels and in a responsible manner so that they can be investigated, determined, and eliminated to prevent future occurrences.
- Maintain job-related confidentiality.
- Cooperate with, collaborate, and assist with cross-functional cultivation and production departments.
- Cooperate and assist in production trials, labor savings techniques, and in any areas where assistance is required and as requested by other growers, maintenance, and management.
- Remain compliant with any and all legal or company regulations.
- Cleaning of the communal areas.
JOB SKILLS QUALIFICATIONS and EDUCATION:
- At least 21 years of age and authorized to work in the US with proper employment documentation.
- Reliable transportation and valid driver's license.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Previous manufacturing/ laborer experience preferred. (not required)
- Must be able to push, pull, move, and/or lift at least 50 lbs. to a minimum height of 5 feet and carry that weight at least 50 feet without mechanical assistance.
- Working safely in a warehouse setting.
- Able to sit for extended periods of time (8 hrs a day) Able to stand/walk for extended periods of time.
- Maintain a positive attitude that promotes teamwork.
- Ability to communicate through various formats including email and phone.
ENVIRONMENTAL REQUIREMENTS AND EXPOSURE:
- Exposure to fertilizer, dust, odors, extreme high heat, extreme low temperature, high and low humidity, high noise levels, vibrations, water, dry salts, allergens, pollen, dust, plant pathogens, other volatile organic compounds, and other environmental variables.
JOB SCOPE
Operates effectively and professionally with direct supervision from the Post-Harvest Manager. Follows established policies and procedures and contributes to the development of new concepts, policies, and procedures as necessary to perform job duties and tasks. Within the Company, the position has primary working relationships with the operations and cultivation management team, and the facility managers.
