We are looking for a committed ESL Teacher to join our team and support our diverse group of English language learners. The ideal candidate has a passion for creating engaging, interactive lessons that build confidence, promote cultural awareness, and foster academic growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop & Implement Lessons: Craft lesson plans tailored to the varying proficiency levels and needs of each class.
- Engage Students: Use a variety of teaching methods (group discussions, hands-on activities, multimedia tools) to keep lessons lively and interactive.
- Monitor Progress: Regularly evaluate students’ language development, provide timely feedback, and adjust teaching strategies to meet individual challenges.
- Encourage Community: Foster a welcoming, respectful classroom culture where students feel comfortable taking risks with language.
- Collaborate & Communicate: Work closely with colleagues and students to support progress and create a cohesive learning environment.
Qualifications
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree (preferably in Education or English) and TESOL/TEFL certification required.
- Teaching Experience: Previous experience planning lessons and managing an ESL classroom is highly valued.
- Strong Communication: Ability to explain language concepts clearly and adapt communication to various learning styles.
- Cultural Awareness: Demonstrated enthusiasm for working with learners from diverse cultural backgrounds.
- Technology Proficiency (Preferred): Comfortable using language apps, online platforms, or other tech tools to enhance student engagement.
