ABOUT THE ROLE
Flow Therapy is looking for a passionate Advanced Practice Provider (NP or PA) to lead a small clinical team delivering a non-invasive, life-changing cardiovascular therapy. The Clinical Director is not only patient focused, but also is a team-oriented clinician with a natural leadership mindset and a desire for mentoring. Success in this role will come from a passion for patient education. During the 7-weeks our patients are receiving therapy, we want to recognize the opportunity to manage chronic conditions by broadening knowledge on disease processes, medication adherence, and healthy living choices to drive best-in-class outcomes. Additionally, this individual enjoys managing a small team, and has the mindset that a high performing team comes through establishing trust, accountability, and delivering great results for our patients and each other.

WHAT YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR
Clinic Focused
- Evaluate new patient referrals for medical necessity, appropriateness of therapy, compliance with insurance regulations, and comprehensive medical history for patient safety.
- Conduct and document quality office visits including orientation visits, weekly visits, mid-treatment evaluations, and final evaluations.
- Educate, advise, and maintain positive relationships with Medical Directors.
- Complete reports, charges, and data entry with accuracy and in a timely fashion.
- Educate each patient/family member about EECP and specific disease state.
- Manage and document clinical issues as they arise; coordinates emergency care, as needed.
- Perform, educate staff, and supervise EECP device management as needed.
- Assist patient and referring physicians with coordination of care with non-emergent issues.
- Provide a professional, caring, nurturing environment yielding a positive, unforgettable experience for patients.
Team Focused
- Lead a clinical staff of Medical Assistants while acting as a steward of the Flow Therapy culture.
- Mentor, support, and supervise the EECP technicians during the delivery of patient care and EECP treatment.
- Provide effective performance feedback and guidance through coaching, recognition, development, reviews, and disciplinary action.
- Maintain team schedules, payroll, and attendance.
- Monitor and maintain staffing levels for maximal efficacy and outstanding patient experiences.
- Maintain effective communication with team, peers, and other off-site leaders.
- Exercise fiscal responsibility with clinic expenses.
- Other job duties, as assigned.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Certified, licensed Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant, required.
- Five or more years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant experience, required.
- Two or more years of industry experience in cardiology, preferred.
