Documentation Specialist
As a Documentation Specialist you will play a critical role in maintaining and managing our documentation process to ensure accurate and efficient record-keeping within the company.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Organizing, updating, and archiving various types of documents related to Flow-Zone products, inventory, sales, and other essential processes.
- Create, edit, and format various types of documents, including product catalogs, price lists, product specifications, and sales materials.
- Review documents for accuracy, consistency, and completeness, ensuring they adhere to company standards and industry regulations.
- Implement and maintain version control procedures to track document revisions and updates, ensuring that the latest information is readily available to relevant teams.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, purchasing, marketing, and warehouse personnel, to gather and update information for documentation.
- Establish and maintain documentation standards and templates to maintain consistency across all materials.
- Ensure all documentation meets legal and regulatory requirements, maintaining confidentiality and data security as necessary.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Minimum 1-year work experience (previous experience managing projects and deadlines preferred).
- Document management system experience, (experience with MetalTrace is a plus).
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of the oil and gas industry (preferred experience).
- Experience using MS office programs (Outlook, Excel, PPT, etc.).
- Eager to learn and grow with a team first focus.
- Basic knowledge of PVF (Pipe, valve and fitting products).
