You'll resolve complex design issues with practical solutions, conduct product research, and assist with material selections. Additionally, you'll maintain project documentation, coordinate with project teams and external partners, provide project team coordination for construction plans, participate in construction administration, and travel to property sites for field inspections and progress reports.Responsibilities Collaborate with the broader design team on conceptual designs, feasibility studies, graphic presentations, schematic design, design development, and productionAssist in preparing architectural programming documents, specifications, and detailed cost estimates for comprehensive construction projectsUtilize AutoCAD and / or Revit to prepare and modify architectural documents at the direction of the project designer or more senior design colleagues, ensuring alignment with design intent and company standards. Prepare both 2D and 3D design materials for team reviewResolve complex design issues with operationally-minded, innovative and practical solutionsPerform product research; assist project designers and project architects with material selectionsMaintain required project documentation through all design phasesProvide project team coordination for the finished plans, specifications, and material selections required for constructionParticipate in the construction administration of projects and review of submittals and finish samplesTravel to property sites for field inspections and project progress reportsIdeal Background Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Architecture or related field required5 years’ professional experience requiredExperience in large scale projects, preferably in both Commercial and Residential Real EstateHighly proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, Bluebeam, and Adobe SuiteAbility to develop visual presentations for all design phases - programming, schematic design, design developmentAbility to develop construction documentsKnowledge of architectural building systems and functional building operationsAbility to manage concurrent projects in various stages of developmentComfortable in a fast-paced start-up work environmentExcellent communication, organizational, and presentation skillsAdvanced analytical and problem-solving skillsFamiliarity with Dynamo a plusKnowledge of relevant building codes and accessibility requirements a plusIn process of acquiring or completed state licensure and LEED accreditation a plusSalary : $70,000 - $85,000 a yearWork sample request : Please ensure that portfolios are under 20 MB.Benefits
