About the Role
The Director of Supply Chain is a strategic leader responsible for overseeing sourcing, material research, procurement, inventory management, and third-party vendor relationships. This role requires developing and implementing best practices and processes to ensure the efficient and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of supply chain management, cost control, and logistics to support high-quality project execution while mitigating risks and optimizing lead times.
\n- Oversee FF&E partners, managing contracts, sourcing, and deliverables.
- Maintain supplier relationships while identifying new vendors.
- Source FF&E vendors and manufacturers for direct procurement.
- Source China, Glass, Silverware vendors and manufacturers for direct procurement.
- Source amenity products for condos, hotel stays, internal F&B operations, and common spaces.
- Negotiate pricing and timelines to reduce costs.
- Ensure timely delivery of products and services.
- Develop cost-effective procurement strategies for materials, furniture, and equipment.
- Monitor spending trends and enhance purchasing quality and efficiency.
- Conduct cost analyses and establish FF&E benchmarks.
- Implement scalable, innovative procurement strategies.
- Plan inventory, warehousing, delivery, and installation logistics.
- Utilize technology to track shipments, inventory, and supply.
- Drive procurement efficiency and organizational improvements.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices.
- Support the design team in developing design standards.
- Regularly update management on procurement and delivery status.
- A minimum of 8-10 years of experience directing and managing supply chain strategies in the hospitality, residential, or commercial real estate industries.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Logistics, Industrial Design or similar relevant fields.
- In-depth knowledge of contracts, invoicing, and negotiation terms.
