Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Property Manager to oversee the daily operations of our residential and commercial properties. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring high levels of tenant satisfaction while maintaining property standards and compliance with relevant laws. This role requires strong organizational skills, a commitment to customer service, and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
Duties
- Manage all aspects of property leasing, including marketing, tenant screening, and lease negotiations.
- Maintain positive relationships with tenants through effective customer relationship management.
- Ensure compliance with Section 8 regulations and other relevant housing laws.
- Oversee the maintenance and facilities management of properties, coordinating repairs and improvements as needed.
- Utilize property management software such as simplifiem for tracking leases, payments, and maintenance requests.
- Implement a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) for efficient tracking of maintenance activities.
- Prepare and maintain accurate administrative records, including tenant files and property documentation.
- Conduct regular property inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards and upkeep of facilities.
- Negotiate contracts with vendors and service providers to ensure quality services at competitive rates.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in property management or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of property leasing processes and customer relationship management principles.
- Familiarity with Section 8 regulations and applicable laws governing rental properties.
- Experience with facilities management practices and CMMS software is preferred.
- Proficiency in using property management software such as OneSite is advantageous.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong negotiation skills to secure favorable terms from vendors and contractors.
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact professionally with tenants, staff, and stakeholders.
- A valid driver’s license may be required for site visits.

Pay: $20.10 - $21.47 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 25 per week
