Ages of Children: 4-year-old, 3-year-old, and a newborn!
Start Date: ASAP
Schedule: M-F 20-25 hours total per week with a mix of morning, afternoon, and early evening hours. The schedule will be provided at least one week in advance, and the family would love to work with a candidate with flexible availability. Occasional weekend coverage, overnights and travel opportunities throughout the year.
Compensation: $26-28/h based on experience

A warm and busy family in Brighton, NY, is looking for a reliable, experienced, and calming nanny to provide part-time care for their three high-energy and fun-loving children! With both parents balancing work and home life, they are looking for a nanny who can bring a structured but nurturing presence to their daily routine while also providing flexibility when needed.
These loving parents describe their children as bright, silly, and full of big feelings! Their 3-year-old is at the determined and independent stage, while their 4-year-old, sensitive and thoughtful, is every bit the “oldest child”. They are enjoying getting to know their sweet newborn, who is currently doing lots of eating and sleeping!
The ideal nanny will have a calming presence, confidence in managing big feelings with the big kids, and a proactive approach to planning activities. The family values redirection, quiet time, deep breathing, and a structured but kind approach to discipline. Responsibilities will include school drop-offs and pick-ups, engaging the children in play, outings to the park, and light child-related meal prep following safe feeding practices (BLW and purees for the newborn). The nanny should be familiar with developmental milestones and have experience caring for both toddlers and school-aged children.
This family would love to find someone who is open to occasional travel and overnight care. A passport-ready candidate is ideal, though they are happy to assist with the process if needed. Light pet care for their two cats and family laundry would also be appreciated.

Requirements:
2 years of professional childcare experience
CPR/First aid certified
Safe and reliable vehicle for transporting children
Familiarity with developmental milestones for infants, toddlers, and school age children
COVID Flu vaccine preferred
