The primary goal of the Revenue Analyst I is to support sales, margin, trade spend, promotion and/or competitive intelligence reporting of the company by efficiently building and maintaining reports in Business Objects (Sales Data Warehouse), IRI, AC Nielsen or other systems as directed. Revenue Analyst I can be alternately can be assigned to Sales Planning where they support the existing sales planning system and process. Position provides database, report, master data and application validation for applications that they are assigned and support.
Position utilizes test plans with limited supervision and provides analysis for the management team as requested.
Objective analysis, solid spreadsheet technical knowledge, written presentation preparation, and clear communication skills are required.
This position is building fundamental knowledge of how brands, product assortment, distribution, merchandising, pricing and promotions impact the retailer's category and each manufacturer's performance. This position can interact directly with Flowers' customers.
This position is located at a Flowers location.
Requires constant interaction with work group and other departments at the primary work location.
Position requires demonstration of competency for all on-the-job activities that may have a direct or indirect effect on product safety, legality and/or quality.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Provide analysis and reports from the available tools such as AC Nielsen, IRI, Consumer Panel Data, Revenue Data Warehouse, Retailer's systems.
- Enter sales planning data and promotions into sales planning system under key ac-count manager or manager supervision.
- Enter contracts and prices into customer systems accurately and timely (and frequently with short lead times.)
- Continually measure, monitor and modify tactics to show progress against the team's strategic goals.
- Practices and complies with all Company policies and procedures (EEO, Harassment, Safety, Sarbanes - Oxley, etc.
- Performs other duties deemed by management to be an integral part of the job, including but not limited to fulfillment of work schedules, adherence to attendance policies, and other applicable operating rules, policies, and procedures.
* At least one year of experience in data entry, building and maintaining reports, and data analytics.
- Bachelor's degree in related field.
