Well established flower shop in Lakeport is seeking a long-term, highly motivated, energetic, part-time to full-time Delivery Driver and Flower Shop Assistant to join our team.
Position:
This is a part-time position with potential for full time. Applicants must be willing to work some Saturdays and, on occasion, longer hours on holidays and for events.
Qualifications:
The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required.
· Must have a valid California driver’s license, clean driving record, minimum of 18 years of age
· Experience driving a van or truck
· Good knowledge of the Lake County area
· Ability to interpret navigation sites/read maps
· Ability to interact effectively, professionally, and courteously with customers and staff
Essential Duties:
To perform this job successfully, you must be able to perform each essential duty.
· Delivery driver in Lake County
· Shop assistant in wearing many hats: janitorial, stocking, flower processing, vehicle care
· Other duties as assigned
Usual and Customary Expectations:
· You will be in direct contact with the public and must look professional and tidy at all times
· Team player, without exception
· Motivated, punctual and dependable with a strong work ethic is a must
· Independent thinker with highly developed problem-solving skills
· Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
· Required to bend, stoop, kneel and crouch; requires full extension of arms, grasping, holding and pulling in all of these directions
· Ability to lift and carry 40 pounds
Education and/or Experience:
· A minimum of a High School diploma
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $17.50 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 25 – 37 per week
