What are the responsibilities and job description for the Backroom Assistant/flower processor position at Flowers By Steve?
We are currently seeking a highly motivated and energetic individual to fill a part time position in our faced paced environment. The ability to lift at least 25 pounds would be required. Knowledge of a florist environment is a plus.
Responsibilities include (but not limited to)
- Contributes to the day to day operations of our busy shop.
- Processing daily deliveries of flowers and prep work, including lifting boxes and water filled buckets.
- Shipping and receiving, maintaining daily stock and supply needs for our designers.
- Daily hours may vary but will likely include 3 to 4 weekdays consisting of approximately an 8 hour day and 3 Saturdays per month with some flexibility. (More hours at holiday times.) This position is part time.

Pay: From $16.00 per hour
