Senior Product Manager - Retail

Flowhub
Denver, CO Full Time
POSTED ON 4/12/2025
AVAILABLE BEFORE 5/10/2025
At Flowhub, we're about more than technology — we're on a mission to make legal cannabis accessible to everyone. Founded in 2015, Flowhub pioneered the first Metrc API integration to help dispensaries stay compliant. Today, over 1,000 dispensaries trust Flowhub's point of sale, inventory management, business intelligence, and mobile solutions to process $3B cannabis sales annually.

Flowhub is looking for a Senior Product Manager to join our organization as we grow our platform, expand our markets, and deliver additional, best-in-class product offerings to the cannabis industry. This person will work remotely as an individual contributor.

Retail is the core of Flowhub’s platform - from ringing up transactions and managing inventory to applying smart discount rules and optimizing in-store workflows. As our ecosystem evolves, we’re deepening our focus on helping dispensaries grow by creating better customer experiences. You’ll own core features in our retail platform, including point of sale, inventory, and our pricing engine. You’ll be able to leave your fingerprints on the retail experience of hundreds of thousands of customers annually.

This individual will work closely with engineering, design, customer success, and clients to ensure our retail tools are intuitive, reliable, and powerful. You’ll own the roadmap for some of our platform's most heavily used parts. You will directly impact revenue, customer satisfaction, and our customers’ staff efficiency.

Responsibilities:

  • Customer-Centric Retail Experiences: Lead the design and development of features that support day-to-day dispensary operations, including point of sale, inventory workflows, discounting logic, and in-store compliance.
  • Product Roadmap: Define, own, and conceptualize the future roadmap for Flowhub’s retail products, including point of sale, CRM, and payments.
  • Data-Driven Decision-Making: Collaborate with leadership, product teams, and customers to identify key metrics that measure product success and drive actionable insights.
  • Execution & Delivery: Drive the end-to-end product development lifecycle for retail features, including discovery, requirements gathering, design, sprint planning, and release.
  • Market & Competitive Analysis: Stay up-to-date on industry trends and competitive offerings - both in cannabis and outside.
  • Customer Feedback Loop: Regularly engage with clients to gather feedback, validate concepts, and test prototypes to ensure our retail products deliver real-world impact.
  • Measuring Product Success: Define and track KPIs to measure the success of retail features, driving continuous improvement based on performance data.

Qualifications:

  • 3 years of experience in product management in a start-up environment with a track record of inception to productionalization/adoption success
  • Ability to take ownership of the entire product development lifecycle - Discovery, Delivery, and Enablement
  • Experience building and iterating on software products used in physical retail environments (POS, inventory, employee tools, discounting, or promotions)
  • Familiarity with retail operations and the tradeoffs faced by dispensary staff, store managers, or franchise operators
  • A “systems thinker” mindset - you’re able to connect the dots between different pieces of the product and understand downstream implications.
  • Understanding and embracing an ‘extreme prioritization’ mentality
  • Low-ego, scrappy ‘get it done’, team-first mentality in everything you do
  • Extremely detailed oriented, excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Client feedback obsessed, taking/challenging the independent and unbiased opinions of stakeholders and clients alike to conceptualize the best forward-thinking designs
