What are the responsibilities and job description for the Delivery Driver position at Flowly Solutions?
Flowly Solutions is hiring for an experienced delivery driver for our logistics team.
This is a full time position with plenty of opportunities for overtime based on project requirements. The schedule will be Monday through Friday, no weekend work will be offered or required. We are flexible on the exact schedule you will be assigned to.
The position will require you to drive throughout the area directly to our clients. You will be both picking up and delivering products based on the order. You will be the face of the business and will be working directly with customers. You must remain professional at all times with your communication.
We are a relocation business specializing in moving, assembling and repair. We offer a variety of other services as well.
Responsibilities:
- Safely and effectively drive to client facilities to complete deliveries and pickups
- Confirm all products are accounted for prior to each trip
- Quality checking items to ensure no damage has occurred to them while being transported
- Performing vehicle inspections before and after each trip
- Working directly with clients and ensuring excellent customer service
- Loading and unloading your vehicle by hand or with a pallet jack
- Completing our driver training courses
- Working directly with dispatching to notify them of any delays in your route
- Assisting in other departments if it is required
Qualifications:
- Prior delivery driving experience in a professional setting
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- A valid class C driver license
- The ability to lift 50 pounds
- Computer literacy and experience using GPS software
- Reliable transportation to work
- No formal education is required
