What are the responsibilities and job description for the Forklift Driver position at Flowly Solutions?
Flowly Solutions is hiring for multiple skilled forklift operators for our logistics team.
These are full time positions with opportunities for overtime based on work needs. This is a Monday through Friday position, no weekend work will be required. We are flexible on your exact working hours and can accommodate most schedules.
Prior experience working in a warehouse environment operating a forklift is required to be considered for this position. We are willing to train on our specific machinery. The majority of the work day will be spent pulling orders and preparing them for customer pick up. This is a physically involved position and will require you to be on your feet for a large portion of the day.
We are a relocation business specializing in moving, assembling and repair. We offer a variety of other services as well.
Responsibilities:
- Using a forklift safely and effectively to move items throughout the warehouse
- Passing our forklift certification classes and training
- Pulling products off of shelves and staging them for customers
- Loading and unloading trucks either by hand or with the forklift
- Replenishing shelves and ensuring all items are readily available
- Completing weekly inventory checks and item counts
- Quality checking your work to ensure the correct products are including in each order
- Using a scanner to keep track of inventory
- Working with your team to complete projects in a timely manner
Qualifications:
- A strong ability to operate a forklift
- The physical capability of lifting 50 pounds
- The willingness to learn new skills and grow within the position
- Basic computer literacy is preferred
- Reliable transportation to work
- No formal education is required
