What are the responsibilities and job description for the Forklift Driver position at Flowly Solutions?
Flowly Solutions is actively hiring for a skilled forklift driver for our logistics team.
Prior experience operating a forklift in a warehouse environment is required to be considered for this role. We are willing to train the right candidate on our specific machinery. This position is very laborious and will require you to stand for extended periods of time. You must be willing to work in a fast paced environment.
The schedule for this role is Monday through Friday with potential required overtime based on project needs. No weekend work will be offered or required for this role. We are flexible on the exact schedule you will be working based on your availability.
We are a relocation business specializing in moving, assembling and repair. We offer a variety of other services as well.
Responsibilities:
- Safely and effectively operating a forklift to move materials throughout the facility
- Completing and passing our forklift certification trainings
- Using a scanner to pull orders for customer pick up
- Loading and unloading products onto customer vehicles
- Staging products and preparing outgoing orders
- Breaking down pallets and replenishing warehouse inventory
- Learning to use our shipment programs to print labels and applying them to boxes
- Assisting in other areas of the warehouse if it is required
- Following instructions from your lead and working in a team based environment
Qualifications:
- Strong forklift operation ability
- The ability to lift 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time
- Fantastic communication skills
- Basic computer literacy and the ability to use scanner
- Learning new skills and taking on additional responsibilities
- Reliable transportation to work
- No formal education is required
